About Add Watermark to Image

A watermark is text laid over an image to mark ownership and discourage unauthorised reuse. Photographers stamp their name or website, businesses add a brand or "SAMPLE/CONFIDENTIAL" label, and creators tag work before posting it publicly. While a watermark can't make an image theft-proof, a visible mark across the content makes casual copying far less appealing and reminds viewers who made it. This tool lets you set the text, then control its size, position and transparency so it's readable without ruining the picture.

Make it hard to remove

A small logo tucked in a corner is easy to crop off. For real protection, use a semi-transparent watermark placed over the main subject, or repeat it across the whole image — annoying to erase without damaging the content. Keep opacity around 30–50% so the mark is clearly there but the photo still reads. Batch mode applies the same watermark to a whole set at once.

FAQ

Can a watermark be removed?
A corner mark can be cropped; covering the subject or tiling makes it much harder.
What opacity should I use?
Around 30–50% — visible but not blocking the image.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes, batch mode applies one watermark to all of them.
