WebP is great for the web, but sometimes you need plain old JPG: a website upload form that rejects WebP, an older image editor, a printing service, a document template, or a colleague on software that doesn't recognize the format. Converting WebP to JPG makes the image universally openable again. Note that JPG has no transparency, so any transparent areas in the WebP are filled with a solid background (white by default) during conversion.
